My Taylor Story

Marty

I'm a 30-year Taylor resident who raised my son here as a single parent. My journey started washing dishes at 12, then 18 years as an audio engineer before choosing fatherhood over the road.

I've owned the Token Lounge, managed properties for 17 years, and now work as a process server. But my proudest work? Founding the Challenger Division for special needs youth and serving on Little League boards.

I've watched Taylor struggle through scandal and mismanagement. I've seen neighborhoods neglected while insiders prosper. At 63, I'm not running for a careerβ€”I'm running to give back to the city that helped me raise my son.
